Auxiliary Programs

The impact of the NHRMC Auxiliary's fundraising efforts can be seen in many areas across the organization.

SECU Family House

This 501(c)(3) non-profit program helps provide a comfortable and affordable place for patients and families undergoing treatment at NHRMC who may live out of town.

Kangaroo Kapers

To ease the transition to becoming a big brother or big sister, the Auxiliary funds a free educational program for children of expectant mothers. Siblings ages 3 to 8 learn about infant care and get to tour the area where mom will give birth.

Dimples Newborn Photography

NHRMC has partnered with Dimples Photography to help families capture their newborn’s first moments through in-hospital photography at the Betty H. Cameron Women’s & Children’s Hospital. At the end of each month, Dimples Photography donates a portion of their sales to help support the NHRMC Auxiliary program.

Special Fundraisers

Each year, the NHRMC Auxiliary holds fundraising events to raise money for various areas of the organization. Money raised through these fundraisers have helped provide scholarships, materials for baby caps and blankets, a blanket warmer for the ED and teddy bears for all children having surgery.
