Our volunteers come to us looking for a fulfilling way to be involved in their local community. Some of them choose to volunteer following an excellent experience in one of our facilities either as a patient or the loved one of a patient. No matter why you choose to share the gift of your time with us, we look forward to finding you a place among a group of special people.

Volunteer Placements

Volunteers fill a number of roles at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center, Novant Health New Hanover Orthopedic Hospital, Novant Health Pender Medical Center, offsite locations, SECU Family House, and as courtesy van drivers and volunteer nurses. This variety gives you options whether you are looking for a particular area of interest or a location near home. Learn more about how and where you can help.
