Interventional radiologists at NHRMC use imaging tests to help detect a number of conditions or as a minimally invasive treatment for certain conditions.
Interventional radiology procedures at NHRMC are performed by board-certified experts who use image-guided technology including CT, MRI and ultrasound to help diagnose and treat certain conditions without using open surgery.
Interventional Radiology Services at NHRMC
We perform a number of interventional radiology procedures including:
- Cryoablation, radiofrequency ablation (RF), microwave ablation (MWA), selective internal radiation therapy, transarterial chemoembolization (TACE), Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE)
- Heart and vascular: Angiography, angioplasty, embolization, stent placement, IVC filter
- Catheter insertion, pleurx, port, nephrology tube, gastronomy tube
