NHRMC Heart Center – Outpatient Services
You can get seamless heart care at NHRMC Heart Center – Outpatient Services. The center is a beautiful and technologically advanced place to see your cardiologist, monitor your condition, and participate in rehabilitation and educational programs designed just for you. The facility offers convenience, comfort, and top-notch care from a team of specialists collaborating on the best treatment plans.
Within its three floors and 62,300 square feet, NHRMC Heart Center – Outpatient
The first floor of the building has 48 exam rooms, a spacious and comfortable lobby, and a conference room to host heart-health seminars. This is where the board-certified cardiologists and advanced care practitioners from Cape Fear Heart Associates - NHRMC Physician Group provide comprehensive heart care.
The second floor of the outpatient center houses special testing, including:
- Holter monitoring
- Enhanced external counterpulsation (EECP) treatments
- Defibrillator and pacemaker checks
- Monitoring for patients on blood thinners
- Laboratory testing
- Cardiac imaging
The third floor is home to NHRMC Marlene Sigler Cardiac Rehabilitation Program and Janice H. Brown Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program. The large, open workout space is encircled by a walking track and provides ample room for more than 54,000 patient visits each year.
