Jessica M. Chase, DO

Office Information

Hi everyone! My name is Jess, and I'm lucky enough to have family all over the US, so I have lived in Colorado, Texas, Western NY, and Pennsylvania. I went to Allegheny College in the small, wonderful town of Meadville, PA. After graduating, I spent a year with Pittsburgh Health Corps through AmeriCorps working as an HIV Case Manager. I discovered my passion for the social determinants of health, and solidified my desire to go into primary care. I attended the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, where I received my medical education and made many lifelong friendships.

I have family in Wilmington, and have spent many wonderful summers on Wrightsville Beach. I applied to New Hanover with hopes of getting a chance to visit family, and fell in love with the program. Not only will I be able to continue my passion of caring for those living with HIV, but I will have stellar Family Medicine training with some of the nicest people I've ever met. Plus, any tough day can be solved by a walk on the beach. In my free time, I enjoy beach-going, dog-sitting, Netflixing, traveling, and checking out some of the local live music.
