On Monday, August 17, NHRMC will move one non-COVID intensive care unit to the third floor of the North Tower. A blessing of the unit will be held Monday by the Spiritual Care team.

Prior to Monday’s move, the patients had been cared for in the Surgical Trauma-PACU area. The new temporary 8-bed space will enhance the care provided to these patients.

“We are grateful to our surgical partners for allowing us to care for patients in the ST-PACU area,” said Gabby Pike, Administrator of Adult Health. “We are excited to use this new space as a temporary home for this unit as we continue to be prepared for our community’s needs during this pandemic.”

Employees should note that the North Tower employee entrance requires badge access.
