Gary Williams, certified personal trainer, is taking over the Back Pain Pathway at the Jack Barto Center for Employee Fitness.
Gary has experience as a rehabilitation technician and trainer and is a 2017 graduate of Hofstra University. He is currently working toward a Master of Science in Clinical Exercise Science.
Gary is teaching Back Pain Pathway classes on Mondays and will be available for individual training sessions as well.
If you are experiencing sudden lower back pain, see Gary. He will let you know of all the resources available at the employee fitness center and will recommend the best yoga classes, stretches and massages to help alleviate the pain.
In addition, he’ll use his expertise to help you find muscle imbalances that can be contributing to your back issues and work with you to correct them.

EFC class schedule updated
The updated EFC group fitness class schedule can be found here. New class/instructor schedules begin November 19. The new schedule includes 75 classes per week, from beginner level (Slow Flow Yoga, Running 101) to advanced (Olympic Weightlifting, Bootcamp, Pilates).
