WILMINGTON, NC – New Hanover Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce that Brian Turner has been named director of construction services.
Turner has more than 20 years experience working on construction projects at NHRMC. As a contractor and construction superintendent, he has been involved in some of the most influential construction projects in the medical center’s history.
“Brian’s experience working here at NHRMC is invaluable,” said Tom Walsh, NHRMC vice president of facilities and support services. “His depth of knowledge and connections to the NHRMC community and construction industry make him a strong leader as we expand our service to patients in our region.”
Turner’s work at NHRMC includes the NHRMC Surgical Pavilion, NHRMC Heart Center, outpatient services, NHRMC inpatient and outpatient pharmacies, post-anesthesia care unit and eight-floor patient tower renovation on the NHRMC main campus.
In his new role, he will oversee current projects including the renovation and expansion of the Emergency Department and NHRMC Zimmer Cancer Center.
