If you have a NHRMC MyChart account you can check your appointments and email your doctor.
If you are a new patient, we will call you within 24 hours of receiving a referral from your physician to set up your first appointment. Our referral team will help you with insurance paperwork and send you maps and information to make the process easier. We will also give you a dedicated contact person to call if you have further questions.
Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Please arrive 30 minutes early if you are a new patient. Otherwise, come 15 minutes early.
Things to bring:
- Photo ID
- Healthcare insurance card
- Medications you take in their original containers or a list of medications you take, including over-the-counter products and vitamins and supplements
- Co-payment if you have one
- New patient forms completed. These will be mailed to you prior to your visit.
You may require lab work, so drink plenty of water before your appointments. Eat what you like. No fasting is required.
What to Expect
We will take time with you to help you understand your condition, your treatment options and how they may impact you and your recovery. Your condition is unique to you and your care will be too.
After your first visit, your appointments will alternate between your physician and nurse practitioner. They will give you a thorough examination and be available to talk through any changes and questions you may have. Please bring a family member or caregiver, if you like, so they can be a part of your support team, ask additional questions and take notes for you.
We understand that situations arise and schedules change. When you must cancel or change an appointment, please give us 24 hours’ notice so we can make that time available to another patient.
You will receive a summary of the visit, including information about future appointments and your medications. You also can access this information in NHRMC MyChart.
After-Hours Care & Emergencies
Call 9-1-1 immediately if you have a medical emergency. For emergent conditions that don’t require a trip to the emergency department but can’t wait for our offices to re-open, you can reach our on-call doctor at our 24-hour patient emergency line at 910-667-3000.
