Amanda Ricker grew up in Roanoke, VA. She attended James Madison University and earned a bachelor's degree in nursing. She then obtained her master's in nursing at Florida Atlantic University and her post-master's degree in midwifery at the Medical University of South Carolina. She has previously practiced as a midwife and as a Family Nurse Practitioner but has found her passion working at Glen Meade promoting wellness for women of all ages and providing prenatal care.
Amanda helps lead our Group Prenatal Care and is a certified Menopause Practitioner through the North American Menopause Society. When she is not working, Amanda loves spending time with her husband and three children.
