Biography

Dr. Neal is originally from Georgia with strong family ties to North Carolina, particularly Charlotte and Graham, which were home to his parents and grandparents. He has been married to his wife Caroline since 1983, and has three adult children and one grandson. His hobbies include kayaking, tennis, and playing timpani drums.

Prior to joining NHRMC Radiation Oncology in 1992, Dr. Neal served as General Medical Officer in the United States Navy at Kaneohe Marine Corps Air STation in Kaneohe, Hawaii, and practiced radiation oncology at Portsmouth Naval Hospital in Portsmouth, VA.
