Biography
Tami's first degree was a Bachelor's of Applied Science achieved in three years through proficiency exams. After achieving a chief chemist position, she pursued a second degree to become a physician assistant from Duke University School of Medicine in 1990. Tami has worked exclusively in the field of cardiology at Duke, the Owen Heart Center, and now in Wilmington for more than 20 years. In her free time she enjoys cooking, is very involved with her church, and has had the privilege to travel extensively abroad for pleasure and on medical mission trips.
