Biography
Dr. Kiteley is married with three children, one daughter and two sons. He grew up overseas and in Louisiana, then spent 25 years in the United States Navy living in Maryland, South Carolina and Florida, with deployments to Iwakuni, Japan, and Kabul, Afghanistan. He moved to Wilmington in 2016 after retiring from the U.S. Navy. His hobbies include snowboarding, running, traveling and boating.

    • Selected as chairman to oversee the merger between two radiation oncology departments at separate military medical centers: National Naval Medical Center and Walter Reed Army Medical Center
    • Led the design and development of a new state-of-the-art radiation oncology center for the military's primary tertiary referral center - Walter Reed National Military Medical Center
    • Retired from the United States Navy at the rank of Captain with 25 years of service in 2016
