LEARN MORE

Novant Health NHRMC MyChart is a free service that provides you personalized, secure online access to portions of your medical records anytime, anywhere. All of our New Hanover-area facilities and clinics are connected to the same secure electronic health record, which allows your providers immediate access to your medical information and to follow your care in real time. If you have received care at a Novant Health facility or clinic that was not previously part of New Hanover Regional Medical Center, your medical records can be accessed separately in Novant Health MyChart. If you have medical records from both organizations, you can combine your MyChart accounts together.

How Does NHRMC MyChart Work

If you have received care at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center, emergency departments, walk-in care or clinics, Novant Health NHRMC MyChart is available to you. You will receive an activation code at your visit allowing you to log in and create an account. Once you have signed up, you will have access to all the features in NHRMC MyChart. Your NHRMC MyChart account is secure and private. To make the best use of your account, take a moment to get familiar with the privacy policy and terms and conditions.

Proxy Access to a Family Member's Information

Parents or legal guardians of minor children can gain access to their accounts through proxy activation. This allows a parent (or guardian) to log into their personal NHRMC MyChart account, and then connect to information regarding their family member.  View the information below for more on proxy access.  If you need help with proxy access set up or other related issues then call (910) 667-0667.

Connecting to a Minor Child's Information

If you are requesting proxy access to a child's information, you must complete a Child Proxy Consent Form and return it to the Health Information Management Department.

  • For children ages 0-12: Parents (or guardians) receive full activation to the NHRMC MyChart record
  • For children ages 13-17: Information is limited to immunizations

Connecting to an Adult's Information

If you are an adult (18 years and older), you may request another person as proxy for your medical records. You must complete an Adult Proxy Consent Form and be sent to the Health Information Management Department.
