Computer Access
While you are here, you may access wireless Internet service throughout New Hanover Regional Medical Center's patient areas. You can check e-mail, research medical conditions and keep in contact with other loved ones while you are here with your hospitalized loved one.
Robert M. Fales Health Sciences Library
Patient families also have access to computers and the Internet through the Southeast Area Health Education Center's Robert M. Fales Health Sciences Library located on the 17th street campus. In addition to digital and online resources, the library has a variety of traditional publications and print materials ranging from magazines to clinical textbooks.
The library is located on the main concourse of the hospital past the NHRMC Auditorium and just before the ramp leading to the NHRMC Rehabilitation Hospital.
Computer Use
- Users must be a loved one of a patient and over 18 years old
- Sign in at the library's reference desk (please specify patient's name)
