NHRMC is partnering with the New Hanover Disaster Coalition and Wilmington Area Rebuilding Ministry on October 10 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. for a rebuild day to support those living in these homes.
The New Hanover Disaster Coalition is the county's Long Term Recovery Group (LTRG) made up of more than 70 partners dedicated to disaster readiness, relief and recovery. Wilmington Area Rebuilding Ministry, a member of the New Hanover Disaster Coalition, is committed to making repairs while ensuring safe homes for these Florence survivors.
WARM has organized up to four rebuilds where you can make a big impact for a few Florence survivors waiting for assistance. Rebuilds consist of helping with things like construction, painting, and cleaning with all supplies and guidance given by WARM. WARM is also following all CDC guidelines to ensure that volunteers remain safe while still making an impact during the COVID-19 pandemic. Please consider giving your time by signing up https://www.warmnc.org/copy-of-sign-up-to-volunteer .
