While working as a nurse in inpatient Behavioral Health at NHRMC, Rokima Knox is dedicated to providing excellent care to patients experiencing psychiatric and behavioral health crises. Outside of work, Knox continues to make a positive impact on many lives as a foster mom.
Knox and her husband, Jaime, have helped foster 32 children since 2009, including opening their hearts and home to two young brothers this year. According to Easterseals UCP, the organization has been able to count on Knox and her husband, and their support as foster parents has been invaluable and essential as they welcome and care for children who have experienced trauma and need a safe, loving place to temporarily call home while waiting for courts and the state to settle various issues.
