Gerald Lee Merrell, MHS, PA-C, has joined Atlantic Urology. Merrell joined the NHRMC Physician Group in 2018, when he signed on with Wallace Urgent Care.
During his career, he has worked at Urology Associates of Southeastern North Carolina and in the urgent care and emergency department at NHRMC Orthopedic Hospital.
Gerald received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. He received his Master of Health Science from Duke University School of Medicine, Physician Assistant Program, in Durham, NC. He completed his residency at Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, CT.
At Urology Associates of Southeastern North Carolina, Gerald was the head Physician Assistant. He practiced Adult and Pediatric Urology and his patient care consisted of operating room, inpatient, and outpatient consultations and pre and postoperative care.
Atlantic Urology welcomes patients at four locations: Wilmington, Brunswick Forest, Southport and Jacksonville.
