NHRMC Physician Group – New Hanover Regional Hospitalists is pleased to announce that Lucas Faulkenberry, MD has joined the practice. He will be caring for patients at New Hanover Regional Medical Center’s main campus on 17th Street as well as NHRMC Orthopedic Hospital on Wrightsville Avenue.
Dr. Faulkenberry received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Presbyterian College in Clinton, S.C. He received his M.D. from the University of South Carolina in Columbia.
He trained as an internal medicine resident at NHRMC from 2010-2013. After residency, he joined NHRMC Physician Specialists – Internal Medicine Specialists and served as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the UNC Chapel Hill School of Medicine Wilmington campus.
