The PEDS/PICU Unit Based Practice Council was chosen as the Unit Based Team of the Quarter for their excellent work and commitment to their patients.
The council has accomplished several projects, including developing a Safe Phone Call practice for family members calling in to check on their loved ones. They also do a monthly newsletter for their coworkers and highlight a policy or procedure each month for staff to review. The council incorporates time for fun and hosted a Taco Night before one of their meetings.
