On Friday, May 10, NHRMC employees voted for their favorite entries in the Crafty Employee and Basket Creativity contests. The entries in the contests will be auctioned Friday at the Celebrate the Gold gala to raise money for a Habitat Home the NHRMC nurses will build for a community member this fall.
Winner of the Crafty Employee contest was Kinga Baransky, a PCU nurse who entered a print of her original photo illustration "Neuron Forest."
Out of the 27 baskets entered in the contest, employees chose Case Management's "Movie Night Under the Stars" as the most creative.
Many more baskets are still being collected for Friday's auction.
Nursing Congress Chair Jessi Nowak thanked everyone who entered baskets and artwork for the contests and those who stopped by James Walker Conference Room to vote.
