Representatives from Gozio Health and the NHRMC Project team will be rounding in the hospital March 18-20.
The purpose of the walk-through is for the team to map out all the patient routes on the 17th Street campus. This information is being gathered to help design an app that will help patients, visitors and staff navigate the campus more efficiently.
Teams will be visiting all public areas -- taking pictures (no patients or staff will be photographed), gathering patient flows, uncovering pain points and looking for best beacon placement. Teams will NOT go into patient rooms, behavioral health areas or the NICU. They will talk briefly to the registration/check in/nurse station areas to discuss patient flow and find out what where patients get lost and how we can adjust flows in the app to correct this. These conversations will take just a couple of minutes.
The Gozio team is also gathering Points of Interest to include in the app. Some examples: chapel, vending, restrooms, cafeteria, coffee shops, ATMs, gift shops, etc. The app will include hours, descriptions and locations for map placement.
