After graduating from nursing school in 2010, Kellee Carr began her career on the NHRMC Progressive Care Unit, with a great team of nurses she credits with molding her into the nurse she is today. Teamwork and patient centered care were always the top priority.

In 2013, Kellee joined the Clinical Outcomes Department in various roles, including Coordinator. When the opportunity arose in the Clinical Outcomes department to take on the new Patient Advocate position, she jumped in to assist.

When Deb Ventz-Migneco joined NHRMC in 2018 as Director of Organizational Excellence and Consumer Experience, Kellee was soon promoted to PAL manager.

“This is a brand new department that I am excited to see grow,” Kellee said. “Working with patients and families to help provide an excellent experience in their healthcare journey is very rewarding.”

Kellee stressed that her role is not simply to resolve complaints, but that her department is here to also receive compliments for the organization, to work with NHRMC colleagues to proactively address any concerns that may arise during a visit, and to “assist our colleagues in Leading Our Community to Outstanding Health, one concern at a time.”

“The opportunity to work with families and our team here at NHRMC is an honor,” she said. “I can’t wait to see what the future holds!”
