Redesigned Consumer Experience Meeting Launches on January 15

January 07, 2019

New Hanover Regional Medical Center has intensified its focus on the consumer experience across the health system, as well as in our communities.

The main forum for discussing our progress and initiatives is the Consumer Experience Meeting, which will be held every other Tuesday from 10:15-10:45 a.m., starting January 15.

“This meeting gives NHRMC a platform for deeper learning of the successes occurring throughout our organization, as well as the opportunities with tangible action steps, and is of significant value to the consumer experience program,” said John Gizdic, NHRMC CEO. “All leaders are expected to attend, from coordinators and supervisors through the executive team.”

Deb Ventz-Migneco, the Director of Organizational Excellence and Consumer Experience, used stakeholders’ feedback as part of a Lean A3 Project to guide changes to the meeting for 2019.

Effective Tuesday, January 15, 2019, the following changes to the Consumer Experience Meeting will occur:

  • Consumer Experience Meeting will be held every other Tuesday, from 10:15-10:45 a.m. in the NHRMC Auditorium with remote access to Ortho Hospital, Pender, the Business Center, ED North and Atlantic SurgiCenter.
  • If you can’t attend the meeting in person:
  • Other changes will be announced during the January 15 meeting, so all leaders should be present.
  • Since the meeting begins immediately after the 10 a.m. Patient Safety Call, please consider taking that call in the auditorium or at the remote site locations.  This will allow the meeting to start promptly at 10:15 a.m.
