October 29, 2018

When you have a stroke, every second counts. Regardless of your level of interaction with stroke patients, today is an important reminder we all have a role to play in spotting and reducing strokes.

During a stroke, there is a lack of blood flow to the brain, which causes damage. The faster you get treatment, the better chance you have of minimizing damage and making a more complete recovery.

Spot a stroke by acting F.A.S.T.
