SEAHEC to Hold Nov. 9 Nursing Resiliency Education Session

October 29, 2018

Join us for the “Building Resiliency in your Nursing Practice” presentation that will focus on what resiliency is; why it is important; and how we can build this positive perspective in our working environment.

As a nurse, you care daily for patients and their families in a complex, ever-changing healthcare environment. How can care providers in this setting share the best of our profession while maintaining our own health and well-being? Enhancing one’s resilience – that ability to adapt to life’s challenges and bounce back stronger – is an important component in sustaining nurses’ caring, compassionate nature.

  • Describe the concept of resiliency and its impact on nursing practice
  • Explore practices that can building your resilience capacity
  • Identify strategies to cultivate a resilient workplace

The seminar will be held from 8:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. on November 9 at SEAHEC, 2511 Delaney Ave. Register via instructions in NetLearning under the SEAHEC Programs tab.
