A Criticial Incident Stress Management peer support team is now available to any NHRMC system employee.
The peer support team will help NHRMC workers affected by Hurricane Florence. They offer peer-to-peer support and psychological first aid and facilitate re-entry to our new normal. If you need someone to talk to or help identifying resources, the CISM team can help.
We have all gone through a traumatic event, and emotional aftershocks are a normal reaction. These can include physical, cognitive, emotional, behavioral and spiritual reactions. The CISM will help you understand what you are going through and give you strategies for dealing with the impact.
If you need to speak with someone confidentially, please seek out our CISM team.
