The Grandparent Support Network (GSN) is a peer support group for grandparents providing full-time care for their grandchildren. Lower Cape Fear YWCA is recruiting teams of volunteers to work with more than 60 children enrolled in this program.
These kids range in age from birth to high school seniors. Volunteer teams should consist of at least 4 members and willing to assist at a GSN event each week. This would mean each volunteer would need to commit to a once a month opportunity to provide mentoring, tutoring, sharing talents and engaging with children.
