The Hospital Plaza parking lot has been open for a few weeks, and Hospital Police are reminding employees that this 264-vehicle lot is to be used for employee overflow parking. For the safety of our visitors and fellow employees, nobody should be parking in undesignated parking spaces.
Employees are required to park in the areas assigned to the color of your decal. If employees arrive on campus and can not find a designated parking space, they can park at the Hospital Plaza parking lot. A convenient shuttle runs from 5:30-9:30 a.m. and 2:30-6:30 p.m. The afternoon shuttle picks up at the old ICU entrance between Zimmer Cancer Center and the Main Entrance.
Beginning immediately, Hospital Police will increase enforcement of illegal parking, including:
- Employees parking on curbs
- Employees parking on grass islands or concrete islands
- Employees not having a decal on their vehicle
Employees will be ticketed for all offenses.
