Migneco CL

Deborah Ventz-Migneco has been named Director of Organizational Excellence and Patient Experience at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

This position underscores NHRMC’s commitment to our patients and families across the health care system. In the past, NHRMC had partnered with The Studer Group to assist in improving our patient and family experience. We are excited to be able to bring this talent internal to our team.

Mary Ellen Bonczek, Chief Nursing Executive said, “As we focus on quality and patient experience across the system, we are excited to have Deb collaborating with our strong patient experience team.”

In her position with NHRMC, Deb will work directly with Mary Ellen Bonczek, Shannon Vonderheide and Kellee Carr. Deb and her team will be coaching and leading the delivery of high quality patient and family experiences across the system. In concert with our Strategic Planning initiatives, Deb will engage in the enhancement of our Patient and Family Advisory Councils.

Deb has experience in providing support and consultation in patient and family experience, employee and physician satisfaction, identifying and leading process improvement initiatives, and strategic planning and goal development.

She joins NHRMC from Robert Wood Johnson/Barnabas Health, where she was a corporate coaching director for this large healthcare system in New Jersey, partnering with leadership and staff to improve organizational outcomes and performance. She has served as a Director of Patient Experience in prior roles, and as a Press Ganey Advisor/Consultant for clients in the Northeast.

In her free time, Deb and her family enjoy all the outdoor activities that North Carolina has to offer, but her true passion is writing reflection articles from the experiences of patients and families, and capturing the insight and perspective of our healthcare colleagues as well.

Please welcome Deb to NHRMC.
