Learn How to Identify and Stop Human Trafficking

NHRMC's Patient Safety Department hosted Atrium's Patient Safety QSOC meeting on July 12 in the Learning Distance Classroom on the service level of the SEAHEC building. Atrium presented a guest speaker on Human Trafficking.

Human trafficking is a public health issue nationally and within our local community. Human Trafficking is defined as forcing, fooling, or frightening someone into performing labor or sex acts for profit. The Joint Commission has published a reference Safety Alert on the topic (click on the link below).
