New Hanover Regional Medical Center and the YMCA of Southeastern North Carolina are sponsoring the second series of Dancin’ in the Park, a free and fun 4-week outdoor fitness celebration in Wilmington.
This locally organized health initiative has a mission of promoting physical activity, healthy lifestyle choices, and community relationships within the Northside community of Wilmington. The public is invited to attend.
The events will occur every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. starting June 16 and ending July 7, weather permitting. All events will be held at Northside Pool and Splash Pad, 750 Bess St., Wilmington. Participants will be able to use the Northside Pool free of charge following the event.
Dancin’ in the Park will feature fitness instructors showcasing styles like Zumba, line dancing, hip-hop, and more. The team of instructors enjoy working with diverse ages and fitness levels. Their energy is contagious and will keep attendees smiling and moving at their own pace the entire time.
