Today, NHRMC celebrated Shannon Durant, who has donated more than 19,000 hours of her time as a volunteer at NHRMC. She volunteers in the Auxiliary Room, helping to discharge patients, and deliver flowers and mail. Shannon started volunteering at NHRMC in 1995 and has become a familiar face to many throughout the organization.
"We are so grateful to Shannon for all she has contributed to this organization," said Erin Balzotti, Director of Volunteer & Auxiliary Services. "Her many hours of service are a testament to her dedication to New Hanover Regional Medical Center, and we are proud of this tremendous accomplishment."
