WILMINGTON, NC – New Hanover Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce that NHRMC Home Care
has received a five-star rating, the highest quality rating available, from the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS).
The five-star rating indicates NHRMC Home Care’s quality of patient care is well above the national average for home health agencies. CMS determines its ratings using nine measures of quality from timely start of care to acute care hospitalization. CMS published the ratings on its Home Health Compare website effective April 1.
“We are proud to be recognized as a five-star organization,” said Catherine Blankenship, RN, BSN, director of NHRMC Home Care. “This distinction is an honor that reflects our team’s dedication to providing patients the best care in the comfort of their home while reducing hospital stays.”
