Childbirth education classes will help patients of Glen Meade Center for Women's Health - NHRMC Physician Group prepare for labor, birth and the postpartum period. These classes are taught by providers from Glen Meade Center for Women's Health and open to any existing patient of the practice.
These classes are offered free of charge and open only to patients of Glen Meade Center for Women's Health - NHRMC Physician Group.
Each childbirth class is presented as a series of four consecutive two-hour Monday evening sessions, usually beginning on the first Monday of each month. Please check the calendar for exact dates. To make the most of the time you spend in class, please plan to attend all four sessions in order.
If you are unable to attend a full class series, an accelerated five-hour class is held one Saturday per month. The content of the accelerated class is the same as the series and both options do include a tour. If you are unable to make any of these class sessions and would still like a tour, click here to register for one of the tours offered by Betty H. Cameron Women's and Children's Hospital staff every Sunday at 3 p.m.
You may want to bring a pen and notebook, a bottle of water, and your support person with you to each session.
Free parking is available in front of the NHRMC Betty H. Cameron Women's & Children's Hospital. There is no formal registration process for this class.
We are pleased to share this exciting time in your life and hope these classes will help prepare you for your birthing experience.
