With the NHRMC Wilmington Marathon coming up, we asked wellness dietician Ana Evans for some tips about what to eat and drink leading up to running a marathon.
Here are her recommendations:
-Increase calories in the weeks leading up to the race
-Add in plenty of healthy fats
-Eat lots of lean protein
-Don't try anything new right before the race
-Stay hydrated
