Amenities & Services
Visitor Guidelines
Our family-centered environment encourages flexible visiting hours for loved ones. However, in general, visiting hours end at 9 p.m. each night.
Additional Security Guidelines for Our Campus
As we grow and the number of visitors increases on our campus, NHRMC will be taking steps to continue to improve security and create the safest environment for all of our patients, families, staff and volunteers.
New guidelines and the use of safety access badges will begin in the Betty H. Cameron Women's & Children's Hospital. All visitors, including family members, to the women's and children's patient units will be required to present a photo identification at the front desk and be issued a visitor's sticker to wear while visiting.
Staff and volunteers will be stationed at the front desk to help check in anyone who wishes to visit a patient.
Special Departments
Some departments within NHRMC Betty H. Cameron Women's & Children's Hospital also have additional visiting guidelines.
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
Parents or guardians are welcome to stay with their babies throughout their stay in the NICU, including overnight. A family pass is issued to parents or guardians for use in accessing the NICU 24 hours a day. All parents or guardians will be required to get an identification sticker every day.
Between midnight and 5 a.m. family passes will not work. During this time, we ask that parents or guardians staying the night remain in the unit with their babies.
All visitors to NICU must be met in the lobby and brought up to the unit by the parent or guardian.
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
Parents or guardians are welcome to stay with their children overnight. A family pass is issued to parents or guardians for use in accessing the PICU 24 hours a day. All parents or guardians will be required to get an identification sticker every day.
All visitors to PICU must be met in the lobby and brought up to the unit by the parent or guardian.
