The SEAHEC Practice Support team is comprised of dedicated professionals providing electronic health record (EHR) consulting to medical practices in New Hanover, Brunswick, Pender, Columbus, Onslow, and Bladen counties. How healthcare funding and reimbursements are distributed is changing. Practices are required to adhere to new standards, utilize EHR and achieve Meaningful Use.
SEAHEC’s Practice Support team guides clients through the process of implementing and optimizing an EHR from:
- Understanding the measures and requirements
- Tracking the process towards meeting the measures
- Preparing for Meaningful Use audit
- Tracking the incentive payment
Practice Support also provides assistance and resources for other pay for performance initiatives such as patient Centered Medical Home, Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS), and participation in Accountable Care Organization Initiatives.
Grant funding enables, SEAHEC Practice Support to provide primary specialty practices onsite and virtual assistance related to Medicare and Medicaid Meaningful Use free of charge.
