Below you will find links with instructions for installing the Okta Verify app which will be needed for access outside your practice and the NHRMC network. This is a one time setup process.
NHRMC has taken another step to increase security by implementing multi-factor authentication for remote access. This technology helps protect our organization by adding an additional layer of security, making it harder for cyber criminals to log in as if they were an employee. The information is safer because thieves would need to steal both an employee’s password and their phone to gain access to our environment.
Starting August 13th, 2018 all providers and affiliates will be required to use multi-factor authentication for remote access. To help with the transition, NHRMC is establishing “trusted” sites. This means Medical practices and clinics who access NHRMC’s Epic remotely through https://remote.nhrmc.org are authorized an exception from having to perform Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) while they are at their practice location. The exception is only for the practice network itself. Providers and their staff will be required to use multi-factor authentication when accessing https://remote.nhrmc.org when not at their practice location, and not at NHRMC hospital locations.
Please use the form below to submit a request for your medical practice to be added to the"trusted" sites list.
