New Provider Orientation

Welcome New Providers,

At New Hanover Regional Medical Center, we want to ensure that all Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers who are new to this organization are provided with the tools that they need to be successful.

We have developed an orientation program to allow time to learn about the organization, our culture, and our mission. Our Senior Leadership will welcome you, and will provide the initial guidance for your position. You will also receive information from the Medical Staff Office that will assist you with recredentialing and communication systems, especially regarding your patients.

This orientation program also provides the opportunity to learn our Epic system, or to enhance your existing Epic skills.

During this orientation, you will meet other Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers who are also new to this organization.

If you become credentialed at New Hanover Regional Medical Center, attendance at this orientation is part of the credentialing process, and it is mandatory in order to receive hospital privileges. At the time that you are credentialed, you will receive the specific information regarding this orientation, including the dates/times/location.

Sincerely,

Robert Lubanski Sig
