Board Review |
A comprehensive series of conferences designed to review the multiple facets of Internal Medicine occurs on a daily basis. Resident participation is encouraged with current cases often serving as the focal point. “Huddle” is a mini brief on program updates followed by noon conference. Faculty members, local physicians, and outside speakers deliver noon conference presentations. Interactive Board Review takes place every Friday and is always worth it.
A weekly Grand Rounds is designed to provide participants with clinical updates and state-of-the-art discussions of disease pathophysiology, as well as disease management from a contemporary perspective. Faculty from other medical schools contribute to Grand Rounds frequently, in addition to local and Chapel Hill UNC faculty. This triad of full-time faculty, private attendings, and Chapel Hill faculty provides diversity that enhance our program.
