All NHRMC team members are invited to join the Hospital Emergency Response Training for Mass Casualty Incidents. You do not need clinical expertise to assist this team, which will be called into action during any mass casualty event in our region.
The Hospital Emergency Response Training for Mass Casualty Incidents (HERT) course addresses healthcare response at the operations level for the facility and its personnel. Team members are paid for training, but it must be approved in advance by your supervisor. Pre-registration is required. You must take a 10- to 15-minute pre-test prior to class.
