NetLearning is New Hanover Regional Medical Center’s online learning management system (LMS). The LMS gives learners the ability to register for online courses and instructor- led classes. NetLearning is also used to track learners' education. There are three components to the NetLearning software outlined below.
myNetLearning is a NetLearning software used by all staff who work at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. It requires a username and password to access your account. Your login can be either your employee ID or your badge number with password being your year of birth. Your employee ID can be found on your computer login information, which you will receive during New Employee Orientation. Learners may view and print their personal transcript, consisting of completed courses and classes.
NetManager is a NetLearning reporting tool for managers to run reports on their staff. These reports include individual and team transcripts, curriculum assessments and tracking staff completions and enrollments. NetMangers can also enroll their learners in classes.
NetLearning Administrators create and manage education for their departments (i.e Clinical Educators). Administrators are trained to set up courses and classes, exams, run reports and manage learners. Administrators follow particular NetLearning standards and E-learning standards to ensure proper education for their learners.
Mandatory housewide annual education modules are automatically assigned to all NHRMC employees at the beginning of each fiscal year (October 1) and due on August 31. In addition to the mandatory housewide annual education, new hires have additional education requirements to complete within their first 90 days of employment.
