How do I sign up for benefits?

Make sure to attend Benefits Orientation. You will receive information on date, time and location. During this session, you will learn about the benefit options available to you and be guided through online enrollment through our Lawson Employee Self Service site. You must complete your online enrollment or waiver of benefits to avoid being "auto-enrolled" by your benefit effective date.

When do benefits start?

For new hires, benefits are effective beginning the first of the month following 60 days of employment. New managers are eligible the first of the month following their hire date. Those benefit eligible due to a FTE change are eligible the first of the month following the FTE change date.

Can I get a copy of the presentations shown at New Employee Orientation?

You can print the printer friendly Presenter PDF, which will give you the highlights of each department's presentations.

Within NHRMC, do employees have the ability to transfer?

Yes, an employee can transfer after one year in their department provided the employee does not have any disciplinary action within that 12-month period.
