Kids at New Hanover Regional Medical Center got a big surprise on Saturday, July 21 when Santa and the Pleasure Island Parrot Heads stopped by the Betty H. Cameron Women's and Children's Hospital to visit children and staff.

Santa says he loves the beach and wanted to wish everyone in pediatrics a Merry Christmas in July. He also hopes everyone in the hospital gets better quickly. Santa and the Pleasure Island Parrotheads brought presents for each child as well as coloring books, art supplies, dolls, cars, puzzles, and many other wonderful toys.

The children had a great time seeing Santa and enjoying all the presents and toys!

This is the 6th year Santa and the Pleasure Island Parrot Heads have visited NHRMC for Christmas in July. In addition to their uplifting visit and everything they brought with them, they gave NHRMC gift cards totaling $1,250 to purchase other toys to help make the hospital stay a little easier for children.

NHRMC is so grateful for their contributions and all the joy they brought to Betty H. Cameron Women's and Children's Hospital!
