Create Handmade Face Masks to Make a Difference

April 06, 2020

In a response to requests, NHRMC is now accepting cloth mask donations to help protect our staff who are coming to work to support operations but don't work directly with patients and require a higher level of protection against COVID-19. In order to ensure the safety of the NHRMC team, masks need to be designed to meet certain specifications.

To help guide those wanting to produce cloth masks for donation, a step-by-step instruction sheet has been produced. This was created in coordination with infectious disease physicians and nurses, meeting Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines. These masks will be used to augment our supplies. All masks being donated will be inspected by our clinical staff to ensure they meet the needed specifications.
