When someone arrives at Autumn Hall to receive care from Misti Murray, they arrive as patients and leave as friends.
Misti lives NHRMC’s commitment to delivering exceptional quality, affordability and personalized experiences. Every patient is treated with compassion and patience. She understands the sense of urgency required for many labs and executes tasks accordingly. Her attention to detail and ability to connect with every patient sets the bar high.
Her teammates have come to expect this of Misti. They she how she treats patients, and they see how she treats her co-workers. She is an active member of the Employee Engagement Committee, and has been known to come in on her day off just to deliver a dish for a celebratory potluck.
When the COVID-19 pandemic spread into our region, the staff at Autumn Hall were tasked with standing up a drive-through testing station.
Misti’s input into the design of Autumn Hall’s drive through testing proved invaluable, resulting in a smooth and caring process for our patients.
And when the drive-through opened, Misti stood out in the heat of a Carolina summer, wearing the appropriate PPE to keep her patients, her family and her co-workers safe. The patients in the drive-through are often worried during this procedure. But Misti’s confidence and assurance place the patients at ease making the process smooth and effortless.
Even on a rainy summer day, Misti stood at the drive-through, wearing borrowed rain boots that were sizes too small and greeted patients with reassurance and kindness that couldn’t be hidden by a mask.
