The Human Resources Department is working on implementing a new HR Management software called Infor Human Capital Management, also known as Infor Global HR. This new user-friendly system is a robust platform for employees, managers, applicants and the HR staff to efficiently track and document employee records.
Implementation will be completed in phases but will eventually replace the Lawson HR suite. Phase 1 will go-live in July.
Training:
Manager Space CBL will be ready by 6/24/20
Employee Space CBL will be ready by 6/30/20
Manager Drop-In Sessions will be between 7/6/20 – 7/17/20 but specific dates/times have not yet been established yet.

Q: What is included in Global HR?
A: Global HR: Organization structure, employee relations, employee/manager space, goals, competency management, job descriptions, transition management, succession management, talent acquisition, benefits, absence management, performance management, development planning, compensation management and talent management.

This implementation will also include a new career site, applicant entry/tracking, resume parsing, candidate relationship management, job broadcasting, employee referrals, analytics.
Q: Why Global HR?
A: Lawson went live in October, 2004. Since then there have been upgrades to Lawson however the core functionality, and the look/feel haven’t changed. The last major upgrade to Lawson was in 2014. Position Manager provides very limited functionality. Infor Global HR provides a more robust and user-friendly system for applicants, employees, managers and Human Resources staff to efficiently track and document employment records.
Q: How does this affect me as an employee?
A: You will be logging into a new application for changing your contact information, entering your direct deposit information, life events and benefits enrollment. Since this application will be rolled out in phases, there will be links tied to Lawson for items you will still need to complete in Lawson.
Q: How does this affect me as a manager?
A: You will be logging into a new application for direct report functions such as terminations, return from leave and transfers. Since this application will be rolled out in phases, there will be links tied to Lawson for items you will still need to complete in Lawson. You will continue to use Lawson for Purchase Requisitions.
