Congratulations to Shannon DuRant for 20,000 volunteer hours to NHRMC! She was recognized with a "Surprise" Celebration on Tuesday, 10/15 and presented with an American Hospital Award pin by John Gizdic, President and CEO and Erin Balzotti, Director, Vol Services and Auxiliary, the Auxiliary volunteers and the Volunteer Services staff members. Shannon started volunteering with the Auxiliary Services Room while she was in high school on March 1st, 1995 . She has been dedicated for 24 years and volunteers two days a week on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings.
She takes pride in delivering the newspapers, meeting others, delivering the Administration office mail, florist items and helping with patient discharges and other miscellaneous duties. She has been dedicated to her volunteer role at NHRMC and has so many friends throughout the organization. If you see Shannon be sure and tell her congrats!
