Josh Price, RN, has been promoted to Manager of Nursing Supervision and Patient Placement at NHRMC. Price has over 14 years of experience as a critical care nurse, including eight at NHRMC.
Price started as a nurse in the PACU in 2011 and transitioned to nursing supervision two years ago. Leaders quickly recognized his positive attitude and ability to demonstrate quick critical thinking to handle complex situations efficiently and effectively. He was selected to serve as interim manager over the department earlier this year.
“Josh has consistently been recognized by his team and leaders throughout the organization for his outstanding performance in this role,” said Ashley Helfer, Director of Patient Flow and Bed Management. “They raved about his communication skills, leadership, professionalism and confidence. They also talked about he had built a great rapport with his co-workers, staff and leaders.”
As Manager of Nursing Supervision and Patient Placement, Price is responsible for ensuring optimal patient flow and throughput throughout the NHRMC system. He will be assisting with dynamic problem solving and promoting cohesive cooperation at all levels of the organization.
“Josh has already made a strong impression in this leadership role, and I’m excited about how can help us in our continuous cycle of improvement,” Helfer said.
